宮島御砂焼は陶器としては比較的丈夫で、毎日使うような実用的な器に向いている。創業100年の川原厳栄堂で作られるのは、お皿、鉢、飯碗、湯呑、酒器など、暮らしの器が多い。国内外の観光客や地元の住民がぶらりと立ち寄ることも多く、店内には珍しいアウトレットもある。

Miyajima Osunayaki Kawaharageneido
Miyajima Osuna-yaki is relatively strong as earthenware and suitable for practical tableware for daily use. The plates, bowls, rice bowls, teacups, sake cups and many other tableware used in daily life are made at Kawahara Geneido which was founded 100 years ago. Many tourists from Japan and abroad and local residents stop by, and there is a rare outlet in the store.
